The mullet is gone

Poor Inoke was born with very little hair, and the hair that he did have was growing in like a mullet and old man do ... so sad, poor little guy.
I couldn't take it anymore, so here's what we did .....

August 1st

August 1st was Sione and my 3rd wedding anniversary. The old cliche saying is "wow where has the time gone, it's gone by too fast".  Is it heartless for me to say that it hasn't gone by super fast... nor has it gone by super slow either... the time has gone by just perfectly.  I have been able to cherish every moment and be thankful for the wonderful life I have.  AND to think this time last year little Inoke was not in our lives... crazy!!!  So we went out to eat at The Spaghetti Factory, took a nice evening stroll and then headed home.  Even though this photo has Inoke in it, he didn't come with us, Ela watched him.

Busted!

Look what Inoke has discovered ... at least thats what I hoping it is a "discovery" and not that he's teething and needs something to gnaw on! I would just die if he started getting teeth already!! YIKES! Today he fit his whole fist in his mouth and gagged himself ... silly boy

To Cry or Not To Cry

To Cry or Not To Cry, that is the question ... Probably one of the cutest videos of this little tyke.

2 month Photo

I forgot to include these in the other post, I am going to take a photo every month until he is a year old and use them at his 1 year birthday party, fun little way to chronologically document his growth.

2 month Appointment

Today was Inoke's 2 month appt.  His stats are
Weight: 12 lbs 4 oz - 80%
Height: 24 inches - 92%
Head: 15 inches - 20%

So needless to say he is growing, growing, growing, except for his little noggin which only grew half an inch ;(, Dr. Savage said not to worry though everything else is looking great.  Inoke also got his first round of real shots today, no more easy peasy pricks to the heel, these nurses meant business and gave him the shots in his thighs, poor little guy couldn't catch his breath for a minute because he was so upset.  Just heartbreaking.  But he quickly calmed down when I picked him up and snugged him.  However that was short lived,
here's how we spent most of the morning

So after a filling lunch, good poop, and a warm bath, I gave in and decided to give the poor little guy some Ibuprofen, and now the afternoon has been like this

Dr. Savage was impressed with his ability to hold his head up so well and that he holding his chest up, which I guess most 2 month olds don't do very well, and we attribute it to tummy time!! 

Yay for Inoke!!! 

Another great thing, and I hope I don't jinx it, but Inoke has been sleeping so well at night.  He has been waking up only once to eat!  We've been starting a routine, before his 7-8pm feeding we have been putting some yummy smelling sleepytime lotion on him, clean diaper and then putting on the PJ's, sometimes he gets a bath too.  He eats and usually falls asleep around 9-10pm and has been skipping his next feeding and then sleeps until anywhere from 2am-4am, wakes up eats, then goes back to sleep until 6 or 7! I can't believe it, we (I) have been so lucky.  So we are gonna keep up this routine and hope it sticks!

Last Thursday my little brother and his little wife had their baby boy.  I took some photos, and my "little" guy looks like a giant compared to theirs.  They are exactly 8wks apart.  These boys are the 1st of the cousins on the Harris side, yay for cousins, now just anxiously awaiting Scotty and Christa's arrival in December.
