Busted!

Look what Inoke has discovered ... at least thats what I hoping it is a "discovery" and not that he's teething and needs something to gnaw on! I would just die if he started getting teeth already!! YIKES! Today he fit his whole fist in his mouth and gagged himself ... silly boy

2 month Photo

I forgot to include these in the other post, I am going to take a photo every month until he is a year old and use them at his 1 year birthday party, fun little way to chronologically document his growth.

2 month Appointment

Today was Inoke's 2 month appt.  His stats are
Weight: 12 lbs 4 oz - 80%
Height: 24 inches - 92%
Head: 15 inches - 20%

So needless to say he is growing, growing, growing, except for his little noggin which only grew half an inch ;(, Dr. Savage said not to worry though everything else is looking great.  Inoke also got his first round of real shots today, no more easy peasy pricks to the heel, these nurses meant business and gave him the shots in his thighs, poor little guy couldn't catch his breath for a minute because he was so upset.  Just heartbreaking.  But he quickly calmed down when I picked him up and snugged him.  However that was short lived,
here's how we spent most of the morning

So after a filling lunch, good poop, and a warm bath, I gave in and decided to give the poor little guy some Ibuprofen, and now the afternoon has been like this

Dr. Savage was impressed with his ability to hold his head up so well and that he holding his chest up, which I guess most 2 month olds don't do very well, and we attribute it to tummy time!! 

Yay for Inoke!!! 

Another great thing, and I hope I don't jinx it, but Inoke has been sleeping so well at night.  He has been waking up only once to eat!  We've been starting a routine, before his 7-8pm feeding we have been putting some yummy smelling sleepytime lotion on him, clean diaper and then putting on the PJ's, sometimes he gets a bath too.  He eats and usually falls asleep around 9-10pm and has been skipping his next feeding and then sleeps until anywhere from 2am-4am, wakes up eats, then goes back to sleep until 6 or 7! I can't believe it, we (I) have been so lucky.  So we are gonna keep up this routine and hope it sticks!

Last Thursday my little brother and his little wife had their baby boy.  I took some photos, and my "little" guy looks like a giant compared to theirs.  They are exactly 8wks apart.  These boys are the 1st of the cousins on the Harris side, yay for cousins, now just anxiously awaiting Scotty and Christa's arrival in December.

Big Boy

Its official, my sweet little baby boy has suddenly grown into a gross stinky man in the matter of a week. The cute little toots that were heard coming from my little guy have now turned into full on farts, along with the stench.  So I guess he's a big boy now, and even more like his dad, HA! But I still think it is cute as ever when he stretches or sneezes and he let's em go.

Oh yeah also I cannot get enough of Inoke's sweet baby breath.  I know that sounds weird but for you ladies out there reading this that have had your own infants or taken care of an infant, I hope you can relate, and I hope don't sound crazy. I don't know what it is, but I love giving him little kisses when he yawns or is doing his squawking and smelling that yummy breath ...

Guess who's.....

SMILING! YAY!! We have been having so much fun this past week with smiling, laughing, cooing and being such a happy baby!

We had a busy week, we went swimming on Wednesday, well I did.  I got Inoke all dressed up and ready to go in his new swimsuit courtesy of Gramma Kathy, but he decided to sleep the whole time, oh well next time maybe he'll wanna get his toesies wet .... So adorable! 

My BFF Nicole from San Diego is out visiting her family in Sandy so we got together a couple times this week, love this gal! 

Inoke has his 8 week appointment this week, so stay tuned for his fun stats!
